The Arrigo Recordati International Prize for scientific research was established in the year 2000 in memory of the Italian Pharmaceutical entrepreneur Arrigo Recordati with the aim of promoting scientific research in the field of cardiovascular disease.
The Prize 2015
The eighth edition of the Prize in 2015 was awarded to two clinical/basic science investigators who have achieved distinction in the study of secondary prevention and risk reduction strategies for patients with cardiovascular diseases.
The Prize awarded 100,000 Euros to the joint laureates with equal merit.
Scientists of all nationalities who work in an institutional setting and are not affiliated with a pharmaceutical company or medical device company are eligible.
The winners of the Prize were announced during an awards ceremony on the 13th of June in Milan, Italy, during ESH (European Society of Hypertension) Annual Meeting.
